Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Yaklou group, MB (company code 305216510, Perkūnkiemio g. 13-91, LT-12114 Vilnius, Lithuania) ("Petbop", "we", "us") governing your use of the Petbop app and website (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Petbop helps pet owners store pet information (details, care records, special occasions, photos) and receive optional email reminders. The Service is offered as a beta / early version; features may change and things may occasionally not work as intended.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Petbop.

3. Your account

You sign in with a passwordless email link — keep access to your email secure. You are responsible for activity under your account and must keep your information accurate.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the content you add (pet details, records, occasions, photos). You grant us a limited licence to store, process, and display it only as needed to operate the Service for you. You confirm you have the right to upload it and must not upload unlawful or infringing content.

5. Acceptable use

Don't use the Service unlawfully; don't try to access other users' data, break security, or disrupt the Service; don't upload malware or scrape or abuse it. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules.

6. Reminders are best-effort — not a substitute for professional care

Petbop reminders are a helpful nudge, provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee any reminder will be generated, delivered, or delivered on time — email delivery depends on third parties and factors outside our control. Petbop is not a veterinary, medical, or professional service, and its reminders and content are not veterinary advice. You remain solely responsible for your pets' health, vaccinations, and care. Always rely on your veterinarian and your own records. Do not depend on Petbop alone to keep your pet healthy or up to date.

7. Partner offers

If you opt in, you may receive occasional promotional emails from partners we select. These are optional, off by default, and you can turn them off in Settings. Any purchase from a partner is between you and that partner.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (hosting, database, email). Their availability can affect the Service, and we are not responsible for failures caused by third parties.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. As a beta service it may contain bugs or be unavailable at times.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Petbop (Yaklou group, MB) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from missed, delayed, or undelivered reminders, loss of data, or harm to a pet. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your account anytime in Settings, which removes your personal data and content as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.

12. Changes

We may change or discontinue parts of the Service and may update these Terms. If changes are significant we will notify you and update the date. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, and disputes will be handled by the competent Lithuanian courts, without affecting mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence. EU consumers can also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
